Off-Roading Ahead? Choose the 4Runner

With seven available trims, it has off-roading capabilities in a vehicle that seats five and has an available third row for seating up to seven. That’s right, the whole family can head out for an off-roading adventure in this SUV.

There are two different off-roading systems to select from, coming with either part- or full-time four-wheel-drive. Meanwhile, the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System and Crawl Control maintain traction regardless of how uneven the terrain becomes.

The Multi-Terrain Select system allows you to pick from four different modes, helping to regulate wheelspin for maximum traction.

Inside the 4Runner Cabin

When hitting the trails on the weekend or staying on pavement around town, the 4Runner interior has plenty of room, whether it’s for hiking gear or shopping bags. Fold the second row of seats flat, and appreciate up to 89.7 cu. ft. of cargo space. When the seats are up, you’ll still have 47.2 cu. ft. of space behind the second row. Those riding in the back can recline the seatbacks for premium comfort.

If you’re going to spend a lot of time in your car (and many of us do), you might as well be relaxed while doing so. The 2019 4Runner comes with a power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support. On higher trims, the heated and ventilated front seats keep you comfortable regardless of the temperature outside the cabin.

The standard infotainment system comes with a 6.1-inch touchscreen, along with satellite radio and Bluetooth®. Easily make hands-free phone calls or stream music, and make rides more engaging.

Toyota 4Runner Safety

This SUV will protect you and those in the car with you, thanks to the long list of active and passive safety features working together. The Advanced Airbag System comes with front seat-mounted side airbags, along with all-row Roll-Sensing Side Curtain Airbags. The 4-Runner has also been given a 4-Star Overall Safety Rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The Toyota Star Safety System™ also comes standard on the Toyota 4Runner, with six active safety features meant to protect those inside the car and others on the road too. Electronic Brake Distribution shifts brakes between front and rear wheels, keeping you in control. This also includes Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, and Smart Stop Technology.
