I was in to have the control knob for my heated seat repaired, as it was stuck in the dash on my 2011 Highlander SE. I purchased the vehicle new from Toyota DM in March 2011. I was told they would try to take apart and repair first before using an expensive replacement part. However, when I was called to pay for the repair and asked what the issue was and what was done to correct the problem, all I was told was it was "fixed". I asked again and was told "it was fixed". No replacement part apparently was needed. After paying, I went to the vehicle and immediately discovered that a small wedge was sticking out in the middle console, apparently used to take apart for the repair. I showed Ian the issue who then jumped in the vehicle and hurried off to have that corrected. After the vehicle was returned, the knob worked fine and the wedge was removed. There seems to be a tension among the customer service staff - I don't feel very welcome and I don't know why. Everyone has bad days, but the overworked attitude seems to be a pattern for my visits. As a customer, I feel I deserve a better experience. I did not cause the issue I pointed out. I would have nice to have an apology and a smile. Not sure how careful the Toyota DM techs are with your car when they don't even take the time to ensure the work was done completely. I would guess they are under a lot of stress to churn work out. I am not confident to have any major work done here in the future, as if this obvious issue was overlooked, how careful and thorough are they with major service? - that at Toyota DM you expect experts and pay a premium price for that expertise.

You used to be able to pay your bills and do your business inside at the desk. Yesterday was cold and windy and all the doors were opened in the garage. I had to stand out there until someone come over to get my car then when I left, I had to stand out there to pay my bill. Also, you used to have a shuttle that would take you somewhere while you waited for your car... that was not offered.

I have been a Toyota fan for a number of years.

I have been a Toyota fan for a number of years. Currently have two and a number of trades. Was disappointed at my last trip about remote start that only works occasionally. I have been told by two Toyota employees that it is just a bad design and they often deal with complaints about it. They say I need to subscribe to the app which is not what I purchased. Employees have been great but frustrated there isn't anything they can do about it. Thanks for asking. Harold Good.
