Technology
There are advanced technology features inside the 2026 Toyota RAV4 that surpass those included in the Kia Sportage. Across the dashboard, there is a standard 10.5-in. Toyota Audio Multimedia screen, but, for increased visibility, you can opt for the available 12.9-in. option that is slightly larger than the Kia’s standard 12.3-in. touchscreen display5. As you head over to Ewing Park, the standard Drive Recorder Dash Cam6 inside the Toyota model will capture video evidence of your trip, like any unexpected road incidents or scenic drives. There is no equivalent feature available for the Kia Sportage. Each of these models include a standard 6-speaker system, but you can swap this out for the available 9-speaker JBL®7 Premium Audio setup inside the Toyota RAV4 or the available Harman Kardon®8 Premium Surround Sound system with eight speakers for the Kia Sportage to enhance your listening experience. Use one of the standard wireless Android Auto™9,10 and Apple CarPlay®11,12 integrations included in both models to pair your device with the car and listen to your favorite songs.
Exterior
On a spring drive to the Des Moines Art Center, you may appreciate the available Integrated Rigid Industries®13 LED fog lights on the Toyota RAV4 that help illuminate your path in heavy weather conditions. LED fog lights are available on higher trims of the Kia Sportage, as well. The Toyota will use 17-in. dark gray metallic wheels as standard equipment, but you can choose the available unique 18-in. 6-spoke matte-metallic gray alloy wheels for enhanced durability. There are standard 17-in. alloy wheels on the Kia and an option for available 18-inch alloy wheels that can be less resistant to impacts than the ones on the Toyota.
