Next, the optional i-FORCE MAX 3.4L Twin-Turbo V6 unit is paired with a parallel hybrid system with a permanent magnet synchronous motor, and it manages to create an impressive 437 horsepower and 583 lb.-ft. of torque. The vehicle’s level of power is not just numbers on a screen, though. It’s indicative of the full-size pickup truck’s capability, like its 1,940-lb. maximum payload rating1. Also, this model can reach an impressive 12,000-lb. maximum towing capacity2, enabling you to haul an RV to the Iowa State Fair Campgrounds during one of its many yearly festivals.
Safety
When you’re towing a load, you’ll want to have every advantage possible to ensure your safety, so the optional Trailer Backup Guide system with Straight Path Assist3 is a welcome inclusion for drivers. Additionally, the standard Trailer-Sway Control4 feature autonomously uses the brakes for individual wheels to cut down on unwelcome driving force, helping the trailer stay straight. Like other models, this Toyota Tundra includes numerous driver assistance features, like the standard Lane Tracing Assist5, which keeps you centered in your truck’s lane while you’re underway, lessening the chances of adverse interactions with other cars. Had my car towed to Toyota on a Monday.

I finally called at 4:30 pm car still not looked at was told next appointment opening was next Monday!? So I have no car and I needed to get to work and expecting a grandbaby any day! Thursday I finally get a call with what needs to be done which was a lot for a 2004 car. Had Friday off so I was planning to figure things out the next day? No one told me it was drivable (which it was) so I'm thinking probably need to get a new car?? I had to work till 9 pm on Thursday (had to find a ride) and grandbaby on the way (had to find a ride to the hospital) spent all night at the hospital and all day Friday. Called Toyota to plead for a loaner so I could get to work and be mobile the answer was "no" if you are trying to sell cars that is not the way to do it! So I rented a car because I needed to get to work Saturday, Sunday, and Monday 300 dollars and I owe Toyota 500 for just looking at the car! I had Tuesday off so I called Monday to see what needed to be fixed to make it drivable so I could get it home or to another dealership! That's when they told me it was drivable!?!? Seriously!! That would of been nice to know 4 days ago!! Only help I got was a ride to Toyota to pay my bill! I told them, when paying my bill, that it would of been nice to know my car was drivable because I rented a car! No "I'm sorry" nothing! ”
